Sunday 17 November 2024 - 2D/1N Tour @ George Town, Penang (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
Penang is located north of Kuala Lumpur and is the home to mouth watering street food and historical sites. Declared a UNESCO site in 2008 under the World Heritage List. Whether it’s your first time to Penang or just visiting for a weekend, we’ll show you where to go, what to see and more importantly, what to eat!

Day 1: Unlocking the Secrets of Nature
8:00 am: Pick up from KL Hotel
Guests to be ready at Hotel Lobby for pick-up
11:30 am: Enroute Lunch @ Plan B, Ipoh
Plan B is designed in a blended modern architectural styles with the original features of the old building in which the restaurant is located. Plan B has a combined Asian and Western menu.
2:00 pm: Arrive at Hotel in Penang
Guests to check-in at the hotel and ready to leave.
3:00 pm: Penang Hill Tour
(inclusive of Van Transfer, Funicular Train ticket, Habitat entrance fee & Dinner @ David Browns)
The Penang Hill Railway is a one-section funicular railway which climbs the Penang Hill from Air Itam, on the outskirts of the city of George Town. The railway first opened in 1923 as a two-section railway but was overhauled in 2010 into a one-section system.
The Habitat Penang Hill is a world-class rainforest discovery centre located at the edge of the magnificent rainforest located within easy reach of the vibrant metropolis of Penang. With its nature trail, iconic treetop walkway, and canopy bridge that provide exceptional rainforest experiences, The Habitat aspires to awaken curiosity and nurture support for conservation among the thousands of visitors it receives each year.
18:30 pm: Dinner @ David Brown's Restaurant & Tea Terrace
Tucked away in the corner of Penang’s iconic Penang Hill lies David Brown’s at Strawberry Hill, a quintessential British colonial Restaurant and Tea Terrace which also happens to be the highest restaurant in Penang.
19:30 pm: Depart back to hotel

10:30 am: George Town City Tour

Semi fine-dining restaurant offering traditional Malay cuisine with a fascinating fusion style.
13:30 pm: Depart back to Kuala Lumpur
Guests to be ready for journey back to KL
17:30 pm: Enroute Dinner @ Satay Haji Samuri, Overhead Bridge Sungai Buloh
One of Malaysia’s famous restaurant chains, serving skewered barbequed meat called “satay”.
20:00 pm: Drop-off @ KL Hotel
